Could you imagine what would happen if the general public of the United States got a hold of this?
If this were blaring on all of the tv screens instead of the blind fuckers of Fox?
The images that Vice is bringing to all those who seek in this episode are what might be expected of the war in Afghanistan, but I think the outrage would lie in the fact that all of this information is not being served out to the public. All of the talk about keeping villages away from the Taliban and responding to the people and what is needed at their personl levels. The building of wells does not sound nearly as sinister as what my mind had concocted about the war without info. It seems like all of this kind of new-wave of war technique would bring good publicity, so why hide it.
There is something being hidden in some part of this thing. The bit at the end (31:45 to the end) I think really sums it all up.

I'm not here
Cate Blanchett is hott as Bob Dylan
and I'm kinda glad I don't fully understand the way that movie went. It's format was crazy and I'm into that.
So I fully reccomend I'm Not There to anyone sick of the everday movie and looking for more insight into somebodies mind.

"once I’m naked I could dissapear"
I'm the first to admit I'm a tremendous fan of Vice and all the great stuff they get out to the webbernet. I'd vouch for the creative genius of atleast 85% of the stuff they publish, and that's at the least.
They're programs on vbs.tv are just as brilliant.
The Vice Guide To Liberia is one of those that's completely neccesary to watch for humanities sake. Slums, rape, cannibalism, Aids, weapons and dope addicted youth afflict the polluted population of Liberia. Vice finally takes the step into the madness to expose what the national super powers have been turning a blind eye to. And before we forget that these are people living in these war torn conditions, the video shows the human side of the story with former general "Butt Naked" and his path towards redemption.
